I’ve already got the apparel and thermoforming manufacturers lined up and ready to go. With lead times and coordination, I’m hoping to be able to start shipping these out at the beginning of 2024!

Definitely not! It looks that way because all the photos I have of this chest protector are ones I made myself, and I’m definitely not a professional.

The protector as a whole is about 7/16”, but because that depth is distributed better on your chest, you barely feel it! (or at least I do!)

It fits perfectly under my SPES Women’s AP Light jacket.

This chest protector is made of cotton fabric, an impact resistant foam (similar to what comes in SPES jackets), and a polypropylene plastic plate.

Our sizes are based on the SPES AP Light Women’s jacket and Old Navy’s size chart. We’ll have 4 sizes in total: Small, Medium, Large, and Extra-Large.

I need to get my math double-checked by my apparel manufacturers, but this protector will accommodate chest measurements from 28” to 60”

Both the sides and the shoulder straps are adjustable so that the protector fits you in the best way possible!

I absolutely want to! I’ve got the plans for them drawn up already. If the crowdfunding is successful for this chest protector, a Men’s version is absolutely my next one!
